A Gift Or Two from Greg #7

Greetings.
As we hurtle towards the end of 2015 and start thinking about the transition into 2016, it can be a real struggle to pause and take stock of the last 12 months. We’re all too good at moving on to the next thing without recognising what has been achieved. How often has we all heard “We don’t do enough to recognise success”? So – have a go at breaking that pattern and pause, even if only for five minutes.
For Development Direct, 2015 has been a great year of consolidation and growth. Relationships with a range of clients are deepening and the results of our various engagements have been very pleasing. My sincere thanks to all of you who have contributed directly or indirectly to this outcome.
On the personal side of things, son Andrew has finished school and heads off to the wilds of Waikato University next year. His testimonial from the school was excellent – perhaps we are doing something right! Glenys & I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary next year and will be heading off overseas for a few weeks in March, so the Development Direct office will be closed. Well, as much as it ever is …..
Only two clips this time and both of them were passed to me by others (thank you). For very different reasons, they bear viewing.
If ever there was a salutary reminder to live each day to its fullest, this is it.
And a timely health and safety message to all you gentlemen out there who may risk sitting on plastic stacking chairs in shorts.
As in previous years, in lieu of individual client gifts Development Direct will be making a donation to the Auckland Cancer Society.
Again thank you, enjoy whatever break you are planning and remember – breathe. Have a great Christmas and a happy start to the new year.
Until 2016.
Regards,
Greg McBain | Principal
